Biography of DJ Luk Khrueng.
DJ Luk Khrueng, real name is Lorenzo. He is a mix thai-french musician, composer & a DJ.
His beginning story in the music world started when he was around 5 years old, back in 2006. His parents got him and his sister to learn how to play keyboard with a private tutor. DJ Luk Khrueng then field in love with music by praticing his keyboard lessons and at some point he learned how to play rythmically according to the tempo on the electric piano that he practiced on. At the age of 10 years old, the private music tutor then advise DJ Luk Khrueng parents to give it a try with learning how to play drums. He then joined Yamaha Music School in Bangkok in 2010. He then started his first band in his school in 2012, playing a lot of covers of famous old school music and genres, from Blues to Rock to Jazz and Metal music. From ACDC to Jimi hendrix and many more famous iconic covers and music.
Due to COVID-19 hitting Thailand in early 2020, DJ Luk Khrueng has lost touch with his bands in his school and university, he then reflect on himself and realized that he has all the skills needed to be a solo composer and so that’s how he started his music production journey in the year 2021, during COVID-19 outbreak.
He then released his first ever track officially, called Acid Bay, in 2021.
Then as COVID-19 slowly ended, he then started his internship and finished his university study. He then started his first ever full-time job as a Sound Technician, Sound Engineer & full-time DJ in Club Med Phuket from mid 2022 until end of 2023. Then in the end of 2023 he pursued his job position in the same company (Club Med) and moved to Club Med Kani, Maldives. He worked there from end of 2023 until end of 2024.
Due to family reasons, DJ Luk Khrueng finished his contract in Club Med as a Sound Engineer, Lighting Technician & DJ and came back in Bangkok Thailand. He then pursed 2 freelance work, as freelance DJ and Tour Guide from 2025 until 2026. In the early 2025, DJ Luk Khrueng also founded The Noir Production, as a rental service of DJ gears. The reason why he started The Noir Production is completely thanks to his repair and maintainance skill of audio equipments. DJ Luk Khrueng used to buy broken CDJ, or all-in-one DJ controllers, repair them and resell them. He then realized that if he were to stock them, he could turn it from quick cash, selling DJ gears immediately after refurbushing to store it with himself and then offer a rental service for other businesses and events who needs such a pristine DJ equipments.
As of his current direction of his musical career, DJ Luk Khrueng is composing a mixture of Thai authentic Isan sounds and samples into House and Minimal House music. Often time, people compare him and calls him “mini Meltmode”. In fact, based on DJ Luk Khrueng, he is indeed a big fan of Meltmode, Wildealer and even friend with Yorsab and some staffs from Durian Radio.
As of August 2026, DJ Luk Khrueng has officially stated that he is moving to Hua Hin, leaving Bangkok and his gig on the side. He is then pursuing a new job at a well recognized hotel, Sofitel SO/ Hua Hin, working as DJ & AV Specialist. He is then taking The Noir Production with him to carry his passion for sound technician and AV specialist skills to run the rental service in Hua Hin.
